A: With the proper aftercare, Microblading can last anywhere between 1-4 years depending on your skin type and lifestyle. Oily, eczema and acne prone skin can be a factor in long lasting results.
A: Everybody has a different pain threshold and may experience it differently. We use a topical local anesthetic to help keep our clients comfortable throughout procedure. At most it may feel uncomfortable.
A: You should expect to heal between 10-15 days. The dryer the skin, the faster you heal. Very important to follow the Aftercare provided.
A: The total procedure time factoring in your consultation is between 2.5-3h.
A: No down time. Do expect swelling for the first day and a half. The pigment will oxidize and darken up to 30% and will lighten up 40% within the week. 2 weeks avoiding the treated area with makeup, skincare and picking.
A: Unlike permanent tattooing, micropigmentation can be slightly manipulated with correction and removal. We do our best to meet your satisfaction and do encourage you to be as transparent as you can be when deciding on shape, size, colour, and technique with your artist.
A: It is recommended to come for your first touch up 6-8 weeks. Your skin on average takes 5 weeks for a full recovery. A second Touch up is Recommended after 1 year to keep the pigment rich in colour.
A: Unfortunately, we do not perform Permanent makeup services on top of previous work that has not lightened. You will require tattoo removal before undergoing another procedure that hasn't lightened 60%.
A: We ask that you do not get your eyebrows wet for 2 weeks. No gym, saunas, tanning and swimming for 10 days. Sweat may cause irritation to the treated area and disrupt proper healing. Do not apply any ointments other than the Balm sent home in your aftercare kit.
A: There is a chance of swelling and redness depending on the level of skin sensitivity.
A: Microblading and Nano have the same end goal but use different tools. Microblading uses a manual tool and a blade, whereas Nano Brow uses a machine operated tool and a cartridge needle. Both techniques create very fine hair like strokes. Microblading is only recommended to dry to combination skin type, and Nano Brow is recommended to all skin types.
A: If the previously microbladed brows are 60-70% faded, we can work on correcting symmetry. With unsymmetrical brows, it can be tough to keep the brows small as we will have to work the width to correct. You must be willing to go a little thicker,
