Permanent makeup is a very safe, minimally invasive procedure. However, the body may encounter some difficulty healing as the retention of pigment conflicts with medical conditions, medication, and skin conditions.

Medical Conditions:

High Blood Pressure
Hyperthyroid
Heart conditions
Diabetic
Auto Immune Disease
Pregnant
Breastfeeding

Medications:

Accutane (within 8 months)
Fish Oil
Antibiotics
Warfarin
Prasugrel
Medications that treat heart, kidney and liver.

Skin Conditions:

Rosacea
Psorisis
Keloid Scar
Easy bruising
Active Cystic Acne
Cold Sores

Permanent Makeup is not recommended to the following individuals:

Under 18
Consume alcohol daily
An overly active lifestyle ex. Hot yoga, swimmers/instructors, fitness coach.
Have had recent eyebrow tattooing

Pre care instructions BROWS:

DO NOT PLUCK, WAX, THREAD 3 DAYS BEFORE PROCEDURE.
DO NOT TAKE IBUPROFEN OR ASPRIN 24 HOURS BEFORE PROCEDURE.
AVOID MOISTURIZER AND SERUM 24 HOURS BEFORE PROCEDURE
AVOID BOTOX AND FILLER 2 WEEKS PRIOR
DO NOT TAKE FISH OILS/VITAMIN BEFORE PROCEDURE.
NO ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION 24 HOURS BEFORE PROCEDURE.
AVOID ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IE: RETINOL AND SALICYLIC ACIDS FOR 1 WEEK PRIOR AND POST PROCEDURE.

*Caffeine the day of appointment may cause skin sensitivity and increase blood flow, resulting in excessive bleeding. Please avoid coffee 10 hours prior to appointment*

Post Care BROWS:

Do not: water contact to eyebrows for 7 days
Do not: physical activity/working out for 7 days.
Do not: pick, itch, touch, or brush eyebrows for 7 days.
Do not: apply moisturizer or oils to brows.
Do not: apply makeup for 7 days
Do not: sleep on face.
Avoid Botox and filler for the first 2 weeks while your permanent makeup is healing.
Please avoid all contact to eyebrows for the first 7 days. It is very critical that you keep awareness so that your skin can heal. By picking, itching and irritating the eyebrows, you may be picking off the pigment or causing infection.

Pre care instructions lips:

TAKE AN ANTI-VIRAL MEDICATION 1 WEEK BEFORE YOUR LIP BLUSH PROCEDURE, AND 3 DAYS AFTER.
AVOID LIP FILLERS 2 WEEKS BEFORE APPOINTMENT.
SCRUB YOUR LIPS 3 DAYS AND 2 DAYS BEFORE PROCEDURE. PLEASE GENTLY WASH THE LIPS NIGHT BEFORE APPOINTMENT AND KEEP THEM MOISTURIZED.
AVOID TAKING IBUPROFEN, ADVIL OR ANY BLOOD THINNING MEDICATIONS 2 DAYS BEFORE APPOINTMENT.

POST CARE LIPS:

AVOID SPICY FOODS FOR THE FIRST 7 DAYS
NO CARDIO BASED OR SWEATY WORK OUTS FOR 5 DAYS
DRINK THROUGH A STRAW FOR 5 DAYS
DO NOT WASH OR EXFOLIATE FLIPS FOR 7 DAYS POST PROCEDURE
DO NOT PICK LIPS
DO NOT ADD AT HOME BALM OR LIPSTICK UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY ARTIST.
AVOID SUN EXPOSURE FOR 14 DAYS.

FACIAL DO’s and DONT’s.

AVOID ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN SKIN CARE 7 DAYS POST TREATMENT.
DO NOT GET BOTOX OF FILLERS 7 DAYS BEFORE AND 7 DAYS AFTER.
AVOID MAKEUP FOR THE FIRST 48 HOURS POST TREATMENT.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER BEFORE AND AFTER PROCEDURE FOR BEST RESULTS.
AVOID WORKING OUT 24 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT.
